8-week Pottery Wheel Throwing and Handbuilding

Come to learn a new skill or practice and create in our 8-week, in-depth pottery class!

Day 1: Throwing pieces on the wheel

Day 2: Trim, decorate and attach handles and make 1 or two handbuilding  pieces

Day 3: Throwing pieces on the wheel

Day 4:Trim, decorate and attach handles and make 1 or two handbuilding  pieces

Day 5: Decorate and glaze your pieces

Day 6: Throwing pieces on the wheel 

Day 7: Trim, decorate and attach handles and make 1 or two handbuilding  pieces

Day 8: Decorate and glaze your pieces

Students will get the chance to create pieces on the wheel and  handbuilding. This is a perfect class to add some new and exciting pieces to your home or to gift. You will create ceramics that will be useful to use daily, can be washed in the dishwasher, can be used in the oven and microwave. All item will also be food-safe.

You will be able to learn a new skill using the wheel, use the molds we have in the studio and you make some beautiful pieces.
You will learn how to trim your pieces, decorate and attach handles for mugs as well as using different techniques to create unique finishes!
We have a large variety of glazes and underglazes to choose to finish your pieces in a  variety of techniques!

This is a perfect class for beginner or advanced potters that would like to learn a new  skill or practice their and  push their knowledge to the next level!

Studio Policies:

• All purchases are final and non-refundable.
• To cancel this package, please provide at least 72 hours' notice via email.
  • Notice given 24-72 hours in advance will receive a 50% credit toward rescheduling for any unused portion.
  • To cancel/reschedule a single class, the missed class can be redone on a different day of the week by coordinating with the studio. Based on availability. We request 72 hours notice for any cancellations.

• The studio is not responsible for cracked or damaged pieces, as imperfections like cracks are a natural part of the ceramic process.
• By attending our studio, you consent to having you and your work photographed for promotional purposes.

Important Information:

• Arrive on time, to make sure you use the 3 hours allotted for your session.
• The last 15 minutes of the class are dedicated to clean-up.
• Pieces will be held for 1 month after the pick-up date

This workshop is suitable for ages 16+. Fees include a quater sleeve of clay, all firings and glazes.
